A special celebration for International Women’s Day!

Here at Matiz, we normally celebrate International Women’s Day … working.  It falls this Sunday March 8th, and this year we are especially happy.  It just so happens that the Woman’s Institute for the Region of Murcia has chosen to award us a subsidy for our enterprising efforts! The aim of this subsidy is to promote the business initiatives of women. Last year we applied, but nothing came of it, so this year we weren’t expecting it at all. So from all of us here at Matiz, many thanks for the surprise, and hopefully there are more to come!

(It might be in bad taste to ask or tell how much, but here goes: we requested the current expenditures and corporate image costs for a year and a half, all executed, and they awarded us half of what we asked for).

Since the celebration falls on a Sunday this year, we will try to celebrate it by not working… too much. Have a wonderful weekend and Happy International Women’s Day!
